Alumni Meet



9th January 2016 was a momentous day for all students who have passed out from the portals of this great institution – Bala Vidya Mandir. It marked a new beginning for the ALUMNI who were extended an invite to officialise their association which would be registered with a regulating government body in due course of time.

The dignitaries of Bala Brindavan society present on the occasion were Mr.C.S. Ram (President), Mr.C.K. Ranganathan (Secretary), Ms.Rama Devi Krishnan, (member), Mr.Srinivasa Raghavan , (Principal) and Ms. Jegatha Suresh, (Vice Principal) – Senior teachers like Ms.Deepa, Ms.Shanthi and Ms.Karthiyaini were also present.

The official invite to formalise the Alumni body was handed over to the senior most ALUMNI member Mr.Eshwar by the President, Mr.C.S. Ram, Secretary, Mr.C.K. Ranganathan, member Ms.Ramadevi and Principal Mr.Srinivasa Raghavan. The ALUMNI representative Ms.Aparna in her acceptance speech, spoke about the enthusiasm exhibited by the teachers, which she felt was contagious. The friendly throwball match played on “Teachers’ Day between Alumni and faculty stands testimony to this fact.

The Secretary Mr.C.K. Ranganathan and Principal Mr.Srinivasa Raghavan thanked the Alumni for the wonderful gesture of donating books to the library to inculcate the habit of reading. He appreciated  the manner in which these books were chosen after consultation with the concerned faculty members. MS.Aparna reiterated the fact that they were ever ready to extend a helping hand to the school at all times to share their expertise whenever required. The Alumni assured their cooperation to assist their ALMA Mater to keep its flag flying high.




The Silver Jubilee Celebrations and Grand Parents Day of Bala Vidya Mandir were celebrated on 30th December 2012. The day started with the serving of a sumptuous breakfast. The celebrations began at 09.15 a.m. with an Invocation to the almighty. Cultural programs started with an orchestra followed by a dance performance by the  teachers and parents of Bala Vidya Mandir. The  multilingual play  dramatized  the various activities conducted in the school  .

The official function also saw the members of the management staff, alumni and students of BVM cutting the 25th birthday cake.

The function ended with a sumptuous lunch enjoyed by all the alumni , students and teachers. It was an enjoyable gathering and moments cherished by all.
