HO HO HO! Merry Christmas! It’s that time of the year to celebrate togetherness. Celebrated everywhere as a joyous affair, we too, at our school celebrated Christmas on 22nd Dec and made sure it was a happy time for all our children.

Children were colourfully dressed and they all looked resplendent with their red Santa caps on. The classrooms too had been decked up with bright and colourful bells, baubles and stars, created by the children in their class. Not to forget our well lit Christmas tree accessorized with baubles, star, and other ornaments glimmering in the centre of the auditorium.

They were all led to the beautifully decorated auditorium by the teachers. While it was a fun event, teachers also took this opportunity to explain the significance of the event. The Nativity Scene with baby Jesus and his parents was a useful aid in drawing children’s attention.

It was a truly festive environment with about 300 tiny tots singing with lot of energy and excitement. “Rudolph the red nose Reindeer”, “Dashing through the snow", "Wish you a merry Christmas", "You better not cry" and other songs filled the air with festivity. Santa too made a grand entry in the school auditorium packed with the children. The children sang enthusiastically and danced to the numbers along with Santa. Some of them also rushed to shake hands with Santa, may be to see if Santa was indeed real. The day ended with children receiving toys as gifts from Santa and all of them saying good bye and parting ways in true holiday spirit.
