The main objective of this event was to  highlight the importance of family time, fitness and the need to conserve non-renewable energy
Family is the torch bearer of not just one’s traditional and cultural identity but also education relevant for the future that children are going to set foot on. Family-time and all that comes therein serves as the much needed strength and security through the growing years. As a generation, through this family-time parents have elucidated the need to leave a greener world for their children and fitter children for the future. Hence the need of the hour is not just to pass on this vital information to children but show by example.

Principal of Bala Vidya Mandir, Adyar, Mr. Srinivasa Raghavan said, such events are examples of taking the learning beyond the classrooms. They demonstrate vital lessons on the better understanding and handling of the world they will go on to live in.
