Knowledge is something multi- dimensional, the acquiring of which requires in- depth analysis, thought, and debate. The Theory of Knowledge sessions held throughout the academic year aimed to inculcate these skills in the students of Class 11. The grand culmination of this year-long journey of learning was the TOK Symposium on Critical Thinking, held in the school premises on 20th February 2016.

Six groups of students presented their interpretations of different topics such as ‘Art is a lie that brings us closer to the Truth’, ‘Habit is stronger than Reason’, ‘We see and understand things not as they are but as we are’ to name a few. The judges for the symposium were Mr.Raaj, Development  officer LIC India and Mr.R.K.Radhakrishnan , Senior Deputy Editor, Frontline.

The students invoked the spirit of creativity in their presentations, enthralling the audience with thoughtful debates, case studies, skits and real-life situations. Some even brought out the essence of their topic through show-and-tell activities like magic tricks, videos and a song.
